Puerto Rico

School- this is going great!  i got an A on my speaking engagment and got all my homework done.   I had to do a computer assignment and ended up going up to the computer lab at school to get it done.  We save everything on a flash drive.   i think that was a bad thing for me.  My flash drive literally broke in half when I got home so I had to redo it.   I was not happy but I had no problem redoing my homework.    We did not have our chemistry quiz tonight so I was happy about that.   Chemistry is over my head right now.

Training-well i cant walk and i am going to Puerto Rico tomorrow.   My legs are trashed from my personal training workout on Monday.   We did some stuff with my butt and hamstrings.   I am going to have a butt you can thumb a quarter off of but right now it is just a sore butt.    I love my training workouts.  they are going to make me stronger.   It is just taking some time.  My trainer does some balance stuff with me and his comment to me last week was that ” I looked like a monkey doing a football.”  I do look pretty bad.   i lack cordination as well.  Glad no one really sees me.

Swimming- i got up this morning to go and swim.   This getting up at 4:45am and swimming sort of sucks when I got to class until 10pm.   I might have looked a little more like a swimmer today.   I am not back the way I used to be in high school but i am headed in the right direction.   I love swimming with the gang even if it is so early in the morning.

Running-  I am doing a 50k at the end of the month but is is not going to be for time.   I am not sure how bad it is really going to be.   I did run this morning before class and felt ok but I have not done enought to do a 50k.   Talk about starting back to training with a bang.   I sometimes dont know why i chose to do these things so early in the season.  It has worked for me so far.  i work real hard and then get to recover some.  Recovery days are worth it.   i think I am only going to get to run in Puerto Rico once or so.

This morning I was zoning out on the treadmill thinking about my speech I needed to give.  I heard a loud fart.  No it was not me.  This girl fell off the back of the treadmill and when she hit the ground it came out.  i felt so sorry for her but did have to turn my head away to crack a smile.   I have never seen that before.  There was not hardly anyone in the gym so not many people saw.

Puerto Rico-  tomorrow I leave and i dont have anything packed but my bike.  i am to tired to do it now so it will wait until in the morning.  I have some massaages to give until I depart for the airport so my packing time is limited.    i am getting to the point now that I just chunk stuff in a bag and rewear it dirty if I have too.  i can ride on donuts if i ahve to.   i do have some hammer in my house but not much.  i

I dont think I will be riding with the lead guys but we will see how my mood is when I get there.   It was nice to finish early last year and ahead of everyone.  I did not stand in line for food or my hotel room.  the only problem is that crashing is sometimes an issue in the pack riding.   You ahve to keep in the pack or get lost.   the lead pack is not supported with the police.   With the way my legs are right now I dont see riding in the pack.  we will see.
