Spring Break

A’s–  so far I have all A’s in my classes.  the teachers all posted the grades from midterms and I am still holding an A.  Well i am not sure about computers but it will be close.  All the teachers gave lots of homework to do over spring break so i guess it really is not a break.  i did not intend for it to be anyway.
HellWeek-well i am not going to hellweek.   all of my buddies are riding around the Fort Worth area so i get to stay home……..yippee.   My dogs are glad about that as well.  I have two bike rides that are 200 or more kilometers to do on Saturday and Sunday.   This means my long run got moved to tomorrow.   It is 20 miles and then next weekend i run a marathon on trails close to home.   My run is the key workout so I have to give it a try tomorrow with a low back problem.   i also stumped my little toe today but my buddy johnny suggested taping it to the other toe and keep running.   We dont need our little toe do we?

Rat Traps- this rat thing has been pretty exciting.   it is getting old now.  i have a trap up where i hear it (above my bed) and it dont eat any of the food in it.   I have been up late at night looking up the solution to the prob.   i decided to call the exterminators that came up on my search.   They told em the hole routine and i asked for quote before they came out.   He said  the lowest fee is 600 dollars.    He did mention that they did Sylvestor Stallones house in Malibu.   it was easy for me to pass on this solution.

So I might get more traps, glue pads, and different food to put in the attick.   The last resort is throwing my cousins cat up in the attick.  I asked my dad what he did about our mice when i was a kid and he said he did that.  i thought he was joking but it turns out my cousins cat has experience.   I am going to buy one of those things that puts out sound that runs the rats off or keeps them away.   I had a client mention that was what they did.  

I was checking the trap every day but today i did not go up in the attick.   This rat sounds like a cat and is starting to scare me.   it sounds like he is  digging a hole to China above my bed.  I can hear the little asshole now going to town tearing who knows what up in my attick.  if i had a gun i would have blown my whole ceiling up the past few nights trying to shoot him.  i do bang on the walls but it does not seem to bother him.   I jsut knew i was going to catch this rat the first day and was always excited to come home to see if i had him but now i dont want to go up the ladder.  looks like i will be getting some more traps as well.   i am not going to poison him since i dont want him to die in my walls and stink up the place.   He just moved in about 3 weeks ago but he will be gone soon.

Certified-  well i would take a picture and post it but i got my EMT certification today so now i am free to get a job.   i would not say that the past is behind me but at least my 10 month hassle with the state is over and I  dont have to get a lawyer.   I can now make myself even more busy applying for jobs.  i an application that needs to go off tomorrow and a stack of them to fill out.   I am supposed to attach a copy of my certifications to my applications but ding dong me gave the fire cert to my dad to frame.     Some of my mail still goes to my cousins house so i did not get my hands on my EMT certification until tonight.   I bought some nasty wine to celebrate.   I dont know how to pick wine so i guess having a glass of wine was not meant to be.
